Digital Millennium Copyright Act Policy
Welcome to (the ‘Site’). We value the intellectual property rights of others and expect the same respect for our rights. According to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, copyright owners or their agents can send us a takedown notice through our DMCA Agent listed below. As an internet service provider, we are protected by the “safe harbor” provisions of the DMCA. To submit an infringement claim, specific information must be provided:
Notice of Infringement – Claim
- A signature from the copyright owner or an authorized person;
- Identification of the copyrighted work allegedly infringed;
- Details to help locate the infringing material, including the URL;
- Contact information for the complaining party;
- A statement that the use of the material is unauthorized;
- An assertion that the information provided is accurate and the complaining party is authorized.
Title 17 USC §512(f) outlines penalties for misrepresentation in a notification of infringement under 17 USC §512(c)(3).
All takedown notices should be sent via email for prompt attention.
Keep in mind that we may share your information with the alleged infringer.
Counter Notification – Restoration of Material
If you believe material was wrongly taken down due to a copyright claim, you can send us a counter notification with specific elements:
- Your signature;
- Description of the removed material and its original location;
- A statement under penalty of perjury explaining why the material was wrongly taken down;
- Your contact information and consent to jurisdiction.
Submit your counter notification via email.
Repeat Infringer Policy
We have a strict policy against copyright infringement and track repeat offenders to terminate their accounts.
